Rev. Timothy Charles Davis (AtīvaDātu)

is an ordained Dharmacharya through Heartwood Refuge -- a multi-lineage lay ordination program led by the late Venerable Dr. Pannavati Bhikkhuni, Maha Theri and Venerable Ashin U Pannadipa, Thero -- and a member of the Zen Peacemakers Order. A longtime author, writer, and journalist, he has taught English, Creative Writing, Literature and Journalism at numerous colleges in the Nashville, TN area, both on-staff and as an adjunct. He offers talks, guided meditations, teachings, and online and in-person retreats, often exploring the intersection of Buddhism and creativity. Any teachings are for the benefit of all beings, sentient or otherwise, and it is his hope that he have adequately conveyed these transmissions as he have learned them. Any errors lie with himself, a devoted but decidedly imperfect student, and not with the Dharma or his Teachers.
